As Easy As Falling Off the Face of the Earth
by Lynne Rae Perkins
Ryan has been having a string of bad luck. He was supposed to spend a fun and relaxing summer at camp while his parents sailed the Caribbean. Instead camp is canceled, he doesn't find out that it's canceled until he's already on the train to camp, the train leaves him in the middle of nowhere when he steps off for a minute for some fresh air, he loses a shoe, loses his phone charger, and loses all contact with his grandfather back home. His family seems to have the same bad luck. His grandfather ends up hurt and can’t remember where he is, while his parents are blown off course in the Caribbean. How much more can go wrong?
