Of all the recommendations on that stupid career aptitude test, not one of them was "Undead Fugitive!"

Until last week, Jake, Amanda, and Cass had no reason to think their lives would ever intersect. But that was before Jake and Amanda contracted a mysterious zombie virus, devoured half their senior class, and took off for Iowa in search of a cure. As the two of them grapple with the existential guilt of eating their best friends, Cass struggles with a psychic dilemma of her own. One that will lead the three of them on an epic journey across the country and make them question what it means to truly be alive. Or undead.

If Gore and Zombies are Your Thing...

...or your High School is full of MONSTERS
then you need to read Sick by Tom Leveen

Brian, a senior, smart but a bit delinquent, finds himself holed up in the
 school's theater department while ravenous,
geode-encrusted infected students run amok, killing or infecting everyone in sight.
With the aid of his best friend, Chad and some drama kids, Brian attempts an intense rescue operation for sister, Mackenzie and ex-girlfriend, Laura.

Beware of graphic zombie antics, like mutilation, eating organs, gore and blood...basically all the things a zombie story should have!

Fan of The Walking Dead?

Then you HAVE to read...

Tainted chicken leads to the Zomb-A-Pocalypse in this twisted take on the genre. After an exhaustion-induced freakout at his job at a slaughterhouse, 17-year-old Nick "Nero" Sole is sentenced to three months at the intensive Inward Trek boot camp, where he meets other troublemakers and delinquents. Their foray into the wilderness is disrupted, however, when their counselors turn feral. Now the dead are walking, and they have a taste for flesh; Nick and his fellow survivors-including his crush, Petal-are hard-pressed to stay alive against an onslaught of unrelenting, unstoppable monsters, whose ranks grow with each new victim. Worse, their eventual rescue only leads to further horrifying revelations and a surprising twist on the zombie concept.
